Staff Biographies Stephen Mills Stephen Mills, CEO
Mr. Mills has over 25 years of professional experience working in the small business contracting arena. His technical career includes a successful military career retiring with multiple credentials in the aviation electronic and maintenance fields. He has held leadership positions with three small business companies to include Vice President of Operations, Chief Operating Officer and CEO. Mr. Mills He has a BS Degree in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois University and holds a Top Secret SCI clearance with Life Style Polygraph from NSA.

Brian Shaw Brian Shaw, Vice President
Brian Shaw has over 20 years of management and consulting experience. In many of his positions, he has helped lead organizations through change by leveraging technology and reducing redundancy to realize cost savings while increasing performance and improving service. Mr. Shaw also has an extensive background in program/ project management, budgeting, and financial management and analysis, as well as facilities and staff management. While at QED, he has applied his analytic and program management capabilities in helping Federal Government executives address issues such as aviation safety and safety management systems, organizational restructuring and technology investments. In these engagements, he has demonstrated the ability to effectively lead diverse teams through design and development efforts resulting in supportable and implementable solutions.

Debra Derman Debra Derman, Senior Consultant
Debra Derman has over 15 years of diverse professional experience in management consulting, project management and health care management. Most recently, she has worked with the Federal Government in various planning efforts from strategic planning to research management planning, and has successfully facilitated cross-functional and multi-agency teams through development, implementation and process improvement projects.

Sue King Sue King, Senior Consultant
Sue King has more than 17 years of experience in designing and developing marketing, training and communications materials. Sue has lead teams producing technical training packages and user documentation, multimedia marketing materials and extensive web-based communication tools. She has managed teams of web editors, designers, content producers and programmers developing and maintaining large web sites with dynamic content. Her specialty is creating engaging content that quickly communicates key messages in practical and cost effective ways.

Ann Strohm Ann Strohm
Ann has over 16 years of diverse professional experience in the areas of project management, program analysis, organizational process improvement, implementation and integration, group facilitation, coordination across complex organizations, data analysis, editing and development of training and communications materials with some graphic design. Ann is a veteran of the United States Army, in which she served four years as a German linguist and military intelligence professional. Throughout her career, she has developed excellent organizational, problem solving and conflict resolution skills and the ability to lead diverse teams to successful project completion.
