Executive Coaching Most organizations have a number of talented, high-potential professionals including new managers and experienced executives. These managers and executives may occasionally encounter personal or professional stumbling blocks that prevent them from fully contributing to the organization, feeling fulfilled, or reaching the next level in their careers. Often these talented individuals want to increase their job knowledge, satisfaction, or performance while also seeking balance between their professional and personal lives. In such instances, executive coaching may be the ideal solution.

Coaching is generally more effective and less costly than traditional training. Coaching is a sustained relationship, conducted over a period of weeks or months, during which the executive has time to discuss and practice new behaviors. This increases the probability for sustained and significant change. In many cases, coaching is a better alternative to classical, generic training because it is tailored to unique needs and goals, and the executive is more likely to internalize the changes and improve performance.

Our Approach. QED has consultants with executive coaching training and practical coaching experience. Our coaches listen, provide honest feedback, offer suggestions and help executives develop a fresh perspective. We help clients focus on what is important and eliminate or cope with non-essentials. Our senior consultants act as trusted advisors to executives with the goal of helping them enhance their skills and abilities. We offer expertise on the coaching process, and we consider the whole person in the process. With years of consulting experience, we can offer new ideas to seasoned executives, as well as methods to support and enlighten new executives.

We can provide face to face or over the phone coaching. We assess the executive's needs, skills and abilities and collaborate with the executive to develop goals for the coaching relationship. We interact in a series of coaching sessions that include homework designed to help the executive see things from a different perspective, gain new insights, become more effective in relationships, and achieve the goals they personally set for the relationship.
